Malinda, Emma, Brittny, Jadyn, and August

Last week they all stopped by for some pictures of the kids. We started out in Beaver Park just letting Emma and Jadyn (1 year old) be themselves and me catching some candid moments. My favorite way to photograph kids! 🙂 Emma has got the coolest personality and Jadyn is just too cute! After Beaver Park, we stopped by the studio for a few more shots when August joined us. August is soooooo tiny, she is 7 weeks. I had fun, I think everyone else did too!

Jaime and her family

Jaime is my main 2nd photographer for weddings. This is our 2nd year of shooting weddings together and she not only has a great eye for the moment, but she has a beautiful family also!

Last Monday we ventured out to Lake McBride to do some portraits of her family and had a lot of fun in the process! The weather and light were perfect!

Light the Night – Iowa City – October 9, 2010

This is the 2nd year now I’ve been involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night Walk” at Kinnick Stadium. It is SO much fun and each year they raise a lot of money for research!

As I’ve said before Cancer has become personal to me, I’ve lost my father, two great friends, and two dogs to cancer, one of the friends had Leukemia. So anything I can do to help raise money to find a cure for cancer, I will happily do!

You can purchase images from the Light the Night walk at my website, www.visionsphotography.net, click on the “View your Online Photos” link toward the bottom of the home page. ALL proceeds from any sales will be donated back to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society! So please make a donation and enjoy your photographs! 🙂

Katie – Trash the Dress

Last Friday Katie stopped by with plans for her wedding dress, grin!

We ventured out to a couple of alleys, then off for a quick stop at Oak Hill cemetery. Throw in a stop for an ice cream cone, then on to Beaver Park and its little creek. Well, we got back to the studio and had some car problems, but Katie was right there to get that fixed. 🙂

I know I had fun, and I think Katie had a lot of fun also. We got some great shots, hope you enjoy! 🙂
